Madrona Bound (for real)

Tomorrow morning I wake up early and head down to E’s (PokingMyEyesOut) and then we take off for Madrona in Tacoma. We are taking Beth Brown-Reinsel’s all-day Latvian Mittens class and looking forward to it! We’ll be taking good notes for GD (ChezDavis)!

Beth Brown-Reinsel designed Celtic Dreams, the sweater I will be wearing tomorrow. Hmmm. Is wearing a sweater to a class taught by the designer like wearing the t-shirt of the band whose concert you are going to? Crap.

I even swatched the yarn I bought before class:

This will be a good one day break from work. We are moving this weekend (yes, again– into a guest house of a friend), so while I don’t get to spend all weekend at Madrona, I will consider this a well-deserved one day respite from everything else going on.

You definitely deserve it!!!! Cute swatch…can’t wait to see the real project! I’m sure she’ll be honored you’re wearing one of “her” sweaters!
