Planning Projects

Part of the whole moving-cross-country bit is organizing things into multiple piles. Trash, Donate, Storage, Temp Housing. A week or two I took a photo of most of the yarn going into storage. I picked 5 “not yet started” projects to take to temporary housing as well as about 5 “needs finishing” projects.

When selecting a small subset of projects to take to temporary housing (where I will be for at least 2 months but possibly more), I opted to try to pick one of everything. One of everything? A lace project. A stranded project. Socks: plain stockinette/rib. Socks: cabled. Socks: lace. A cabled project. A sweater project.

Obviously, this is the stranded project. Adrian’s (Hello Yarn) Norwegian Snail Mittens (ravel it!-requires account) from The Knitter’s Book Of Yarn(Parkes), worked in Dale Baby Ull. Side benefit: this is completely from stash yarn.

Of course, now that Twist Collective Winter is live, I want to make this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, and this.

So basically the whole magazine.
