Slow Progress

I mentioned that I worked on two projects during the Olympics a while back. The second project was Celtic Dreams. I finished the first sleeve on the sweater while watching Usain Bolt kick butt on the track.

I love knitting this sweater. There are a few mistake cable crosses here and there, but nothing major, so they don’t bother me too much. I modified the sleeve cuff as well (though I may rip it back and re-knit it).

The real reason this sweater is not complete yet is because cabling this much really pains my wrists. I’m taking a break from it right now but hope to finish it for this winter (hm, didn’t I say that last year?).

We had company in town this weekend and we all went to the National Zoo.

The Great Ape House is always sad.
