The MD Plan
I do have a MD S+W plan. I had a plan last year, and I mostly stuck to it. I also managed to keep to my budget last year, so hopefully I can do as well this year.
This year I’m not looking for quite as much. I think my stash (of yarn and fiber and other stuff) has quintupled in size since last year’s festival. Er — oops!
So far, this list this year looks like:
- Socks That Rock in a colorway or two or ten
- superwash merino roving in fun colors (at least 120g per colorway!)
- Brooks Farm Primero for a shawl
- Shadeyside Farm for some silk blends (I was very pleased with them last year)
- silk hankies / silk caps (something new I can’t wait to play with)
- [inexpensive] hand cards (this is a question, I may not get them)
- a bunch of mohair locks in many colors for playing with color
- I will not buy anything I can buy at the LYS. Like sock yarn [other than STR].
That’s a short list, right?
My mom might be coming with me since E can’t make it. I will also be meeting up with my friend (from junior high school!) Andy and a friend of his and hopefully making it to the fiberbloggers meetup thing…

I need to come up with my shopping list… looking forward to the festival!! :)
