A week out of town and blogging exclusively from my phone led to a lot of typos (louet germs yarn? ha!) and some grainy photos but I managed to only miss one day, I believe. Not too shabby!

While I was in DC visiting family for the Thanksgiving holiday, my mom handed me her copy of Kntting Brioche to flip through. The book is fascinating!

I’ve never knit brioche stitch but I have always loved the look of it. The book is sort of like a combination of technical details (how to do work increases/decreases in brioche, how to work multiple color brioche, etc), stitch pattern dictionary, and a few designs as well. It seems like a very comprehensive book.

The website has a lot of information as well as these free beret patterns. How cute! I may have to try a small brioche project…
