Looks great! After modeling my friend's close fitting chemo-hat I realized that with my curly hair I really need a beret. Otherwise I get a flat head on top and clowny curls sticking out under the hat. Straighter hair, as you've shown, seems to look good with all sorts of hats. I'll have to give this pattern a try...

I was just thinking that I like your beret better. Do you mind if I ask how big your head is if you knit the 18" size? Might help me with sizing next time.

Awww - if there ever was a perfect beret, then it's yours - and you look so absolutely great in it, I *love* these cute pics! I'm not a big hat- or cap- or beret-wearer, but this one certainly inspired me to make one for myself one day - though it won't turn out half as cute as yours! But at least there'd be room enough to stuff all my hair under it ;) Fantastic job!

Man, I am not a beret person, but it is soooo cute. Colleen's flop might be good, but yours has a lot of spunk. :) Thanks for posting pictures of yourself in it.

Aw, I really like your beret! Super-cute! And oh, I have been fighting the urge to cast on another major sweater...but everywhere I turn, ya'll are doing it! Perhaps it wouldn't hurt anything for me to start one too...

I love the beret - and the color. I almost used that color for my daughter's accordian sweater.
